Free Armenian language courses
The first stage of free Armenian language courses in 2024, organized jointly with the M.A.M school, has been completed at the Center of Repatriation and Integration of the Office of the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs. 62 repatriates from 13 countries took part in the training: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Iran, USA, Turkmenistan, Syria, Lebanon, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Canada, Spain, France.
Responsible for Repatriation issues of the office Hovhannes Aleksanyan noted that free Armenian language courses have been held for three years, in which 537 people took part. The purpose of the courses is to provide repatriates with the opportunity to improve their knowledge of their native language in order to make the integration process in their homeland smoother.
"This is our first cooperation in this format with the state system. A special program has been developed for the course using new methods" - Marina Ghazaryan, founder of the online educational platform M.A.M.
"I am very glad that I can learn Armenian. I want to move to Armenia forever and stay here, which is impossible without knowing the language. I am very grateful for this opportunity",- Eric Khalafyan noted.
The second stage of the free Armenian language courses starts on April 22.
