Armenian for Kids is an online educational program developed by highly qualified experts and designed for children living in the Diaspora. It guides the child from their very first Armenian words to confident communication and an emotional connection with their national heritage.

Our courses are not improvised or teacher-dependent lessons. They are structured and standardized programs that have undergone expert review and have been approved by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, ensuring consistently high educational quality. 

The courses combine language learning with culture, storytelling, music, and play, creating a warm and engaging environment where Armenian becomes a living and beloved language.

For each child, an appropriate course is selected based on age, language level, and individual learning characteristics, ensuring the right start and a clear path of development.

COURSES                                   

PRE-BEGINNER (Ages 5–12)

For children who do not speak or understand Armenian.

Start the course today and in just 6 months, your child will start speaking basic Armenian, understand simple phrases, and communicate with peers in a safe, supportive environment.

Classes begin in a familiar intermediary language and gradually transition to Armenian.

For children who understand Armenian but do not speak it fluently, as well as for those who already speak Armenian and want to begin reading, writing, and speaking with confidence.

Within 9 months, your child will read and write basic Armenian and actively participate in group activities with other Diaspora peers.

Armenian for Teens is a professional, expert-designed online education program for Diaspora teenagers. It guides teens from their first Armenian words to confident communication, cultural understanding, and a meaningful connection with their heritage.

Our courses are structured, standardized, expert-reviewed, and approved by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia. This ensures consistent, high-quality education. Language learning is integrated with culture, literature, discussion, and interactive activities, making Armenian a living and meaningful language. Each teen is placed in the appropriate level based on age and proficiency.

Heritage Studies is a professional, expert-designed cultural education program for Diaspora students who confidently speak, read, and write Armenian and wish to deepen their knowledge of Armenian heritage, history, geography, literature, and modern Armenian life.

The course is designed as an intellectual and cultural journey through time and space, a discovery of Armenia, the land of secrets.

Traveling across the regions of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh, students explore their colors, songs, traditions, art, dialects, and landscapes. Along the way, they encounter great historical figures who lived long before us learning their stories, understanding their choices, and uncovering the messages they left behind.

This journey is not only about discovering Armenia.

It is also about discovering oneself.

The program helps students develop self-awareness, pride, and a deeper emotional connection to their Homeland — not as an abstract idea, but as a living and evolving country.

At this level, students will:

• Travel virtually through the regions of Armenia
• Explore the colors, songs, traditions, and art of each region
• Learn the most important events of Armenian history
• Discover Armenian art and cultural treasures
• Meet great historical figures and “communicate” with them through stories and discussion
• Enrich their Armenian vocabulary through thematic learning
• Participate in educational games, group projects, and discussions
• Learn about Armenia’s nature, geography, landmarks, and daily life

Subject-Based Armenian Immersion

Chess for kids&teens is a structured, professional online program for students aged 6–16 who want to develop logical thinking, concentration, and strategic decision-making through one of the world’s most powerful intellectual games.

All classes are conducted entirely in Armenian.

This is not simply a chess course. It is subject-based Armenian immersion where children use Armenian naturally while developing high-level cognitive skills.

Instead of learning Armenian as a separate subject, students learn to think in Armenian while solving problems, planning strategies, analyzing positions, and making decisions.

Language becomes active, functional, and intellectually engaging.

At this level, students will:

• Learn the chessboard structure and piece movements, understand the rules of the game

• Master basic check and checkmate patterns, develop concentration and memory skills

• Practice simple tactical combinations, learn opening principles

• Play guided games with instructor feedback

• Expand Armenian vocabulary related to logic, strategy, and competition

Designed for students who already understand the fundamentals and are ready to deepen their strategic mastery.

At this level, students will:

• Strengthen tactical vision (forks, pins, discovered attacks, combinations)

• Study structured opening systems, understand middlegame planning and positional play

• Learn essential endgame strategies, analyze classical games of chess masters

• Develop long-term planning and calculation skills, present and defend strategic decisions in Armenian

Focus: Advancing strategic intelligence while using Armenian as a language of analysis, debate, and leadership.

“Armenian Studies for Teenagers”: An Educational Support Program for Armenian Diaspora Schools

The course, designed for youth aged 14 and older, is a unique journey not only through time and space, but also a path toward self-discovery.

"Armenian Studies for Teenagers" is not just a study of Armenia as an object, but a guide to shaping one’s own identity. By learning about Armenia—its history, culture, nature, language, and art—participants begin to see their inner world in a new light, build self-awareness, and develop holistic thinking.

During this course, fundamental knowledge is formed by weaving together information and developing skills, making learning practical and tangible, meaningful and engaging. This not only stimulates intellectual growth but also shapes thoughtful, reflective, and independent individuals.

Short description

During the course, participants will:

• Explore Armenia’s regions and Artsakh—their nature, culture, people, and history.
• Develop knowledge of the geography of Armenia and Artsakh.
• Analyze important historical events, drawing parallels with the formation of modern identity.
• Reflect on the role of art, language, music, and traditional culture in personal development and community resilience.
• Become familiar with the ideas of great Armenian thinkers, writers, and artists, and seek their own responses to this heritage.
• Learn about key figures in Armenian history as individuals, analyze their roles, find similarities with themselves, and form constructive ways of thinking.
• Read beautiful samples of Armenian literature, discovering their own emotions and thoughts through literature.
• Participate in cognitive, creative, and discussion-based activities—debates, team projects, structured experiential games.
• Develop language skills: the ability to express opinions, argue, and narrate in Armenian, both in writing and orally.
• Study the elements of national identity, attempting to find their own place within modern Armenian reality.

Methodological Description

How can the learning process be transformed into a journey that develops the student’s cognitive skills?

The demands and guiding questions lead us toward research and then strategy development, since it is not enough simply to present accessible content. Information today is easily available to students through the internet or books. The essential task is to teach students how to learn, apply, and critically evaluate that information.

Teachers must organize learning with methods that make the student an active participant in the process. New material should be learned not through direct instruction, but through the teacher’s guidance.

Research results lead us to an important conclusion: if we want to develop cognitive abilities—perception, reasoning, and memory—students must be given the opportunity to process information through their own subjective perspective and transform it into knowledge.

Our lessons are built on the principle of developing cognitive abilities and are structured in three stages:

• The student perceives and receives new material.
• The student applies what they have learned / reflects on it.
• The student transforms the new material into knowledge, embedding it into long-term memory.
